Sprint site
The practice of writing with light has also been popularized by graffiti artists.
Wooster Collective has showcased many artists making short animations with light movement.
Besides synthetic light sources, llumination is something also found in nature. From jelly fish to plankton to fireflies, nature uses bioiluminescence to create it's own organic light. It is the result of a chemical reaction during which chemical energy is converted to light energy. It is generated by an enzyme-catalyzed chemoluminescence reaction, wherein the pigment luciferin is oxidised by the enzyme luciferase. Its name is a Hybrid word, originating from the Greek bios for "living" and the Latin lumen "light".
